Towards the middle of February I went to some temp agencies. I figured I should temp for a while and get a feel for exactly what I want. I also put myself in a situation to meet people and start networking. You never know who may know someone looking for someone to fill a position. In addition, I can also get a feel for all the different companies and their culture. I am excited for this adventure and all the wonderful things it can bring.
I started my first temp job the last week of February with Patterson Dental Supply (www.pattersondental.com) and will continue to be their branch administrator for a the next few weeks until their employee recovers from her surgery. Everyone at Patterson is so nice and has really welcomed me. They throw many events throughout the month and it is very interesting to see this side of the dental industry.

I used to work for a dental supply company in Las Vegas!! Patterson was our main competitor. How funny!! (My old company has since been bought out by Patterson.) Hope you're having a fun time! It's interesting all the supplies and tools that go into dentistry!
